Hockey

The goal of our youth hockey program is to provide boys and girls, ages 4-17 years old, with a safe, fair and fun place to grow and develop as Hockey Players. We strive to help them learn and enjoy the the game regardless of age or skill level.

The Dakota CC is the largest Community Centre associated with St. Vital Minor Hockey Association (SVMHA). SVMHA consists of five community centres and four ice surfaces, of which DCC provides over half the participants and two of the ice surfaces. SVMHA governs over all minor hockey played at DCC.  For information regarding SVMHA and rules and regulations please refer to the SVMHA website.
