Youth Sports Registration Update

With spring quickly approaching and pandemic restrictions allowing for some outdoor activity, we are very hopeful that organized outdoor sports for the youth in our community will return this spring.
As this is the time of the year when registration for these activities usually takes place, we are providing an update as to what we know in relation to each sport at this time when much is still being worked on:

SOCCER

Mini Soccer

Dakota CC is very excited to be planning for 2021 Mini Soccer season for 4 - 8 year olds, which is expected to run from mid-May until the end of June. Currently we are asking all interested mini soccer participants to sign up through our website. This sign up will not collect any registration fees at this time but will place you on a wait list so we can begin to prepare for the season. Deadline to sign up is March 31, 2021. Once the season is confirmed to go ahead we’ll reach out to each registrant regarding payment. Please direct Mini Soccer inquiries to jared@dakotacc.com.

U9 and older OUTDOOR SOCCER (Youth Soccer)

Tryout registration for Premier and Developmental soccer is now open on the Boni-vital Soccer Association website at https://www.bonivitalsoccer.com/. Recreational soccer registration is expected to open shortly, also on the Boni-Vital Soccer website.

BASEBALL

Bon-vital Baseball Association (BVBA) is working with centres to arrange for registration and delivery of youth baseball programming for all ages in our community.  Details on the 2021 youth baseball season and registration are still under development and will be shared through BVBA when available at https://bonivitalbaseball.ca/

SOFTBALL

Boni-vital Softball Association (BVSA)is now accepting sign up for all ages of youth softball in our community. At this point only names are being collected through their registration portal. Once it’s confirmed the season is proceeding, registrants will be notified regarding payment.  To register your name for the 2021 season, please go to https://www.softball.mb.ca/content/team-registration

While many of our community youth sports have moved to a regional centralized association model of organization, Dakota CC remains involved in each of these associations through our dedicated Youth Sport Convenors to ensure a quality sport experience for all our community participants. DCC will also committed to providing our community with the most up to date information on youth sports as we receive it from our sport delivery partners.
