Group Fitness Classes

Group fitness classes are a great way to stay in shape and make some new friends! Choose from several different classes like Zumba, Yoga Flow or Total Body Strength.

Adult Programs & Activities (New options available)

Want to try one of the fastest growing sports in North America? Come on down and try Pickleball during our daily drop-in hours. Don't know how to play? We also offer Learn 2 Play sessions. Looking for something with a bit more extra kick? Try our new Ultimate You fitness program.

Youth Programs (New options available)

Did you know that there is yoga for kids? Perhaps you're looking for something a bit more simplified like a day or week camp? There are several youth program options to choose from, including 'All About Sport', which teaches skills through active play.

Older Adult Programs (New options available)

Older Adult Programming continues at Dakota Community Centre. We'll have all your favourites to choose from, plus we're introducing some new group fitness programs like Tango.

We're also expanding our Wellness & Technology classes. You'll be able to continue painting or participating in Minds in Motion, but now we're adding a class that helps with relaxing and reducing stress and another on fall prevention.

Want to participate in something a bit more casual, like playing cards? We'll continue to have Cribbage and Whists on offer this winter. Line Dancing for beginners and those a bit more advanced will also be available.
