Public Skating Is Back!

Public Skating is back at Dakota Community Centre. Please read all of the information below as there are certaing policies in place to ensure proper safety guidelines. If you have any questions, please reach out to Daniel Teillefer.

RULES & INFORMATION

  • All participants must wear skates while on the ice surface. Those without skates will not be permitted on the ice surface.
  • No scrimmages, shinny, or games of tag allowed during public skating.
  • Helmets MUST be worn for those aged 16 and under on the public skating rink.
  • Dakota Community Centre reserves the right to limit the number of people on the ice at any given time.
  • Inappropriate behaviour, language and/or unsafe activities will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the ice.
In addition to adhering to provincial health regulations related to limiting the transmission of COVID-19, there are additional terms and conditions that must be followed in order to participate in Public Skating at Dakota Community Centre. Please visit our COVID-19 Safety Measures & Policies page for more information by clicking the button on the right.

Proof of immunization must be shown prior to entering Dakota Community Centre. Effective December 6, 2021, youth aged 12-17 will be required to show proof of at least one vaccination or a recent negative COVID-19 test (72 hours). For more information, please visit our website.
