Get all your summer ice in one place! Our Summer Program is built to elevate every player’s skill, confidence, and overall hockey IQ. Throughout the summer, we’ll dig deeper into game like situations and prepare athletes to hit the ice strong for the 2026–2027 season.
A standout feature of the program is our emphasis on mentorship. We believe confidence off the ice is just as important as confidence on it. Players will be part of a team like environment, with an opportunity to connect with coaches for support in goal setting, development planning, hockey pathways, and more.
 
The FULL program consists of 24 ice-times, running through the months of July and August. Ice-times will be on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s, and Thursday’s so you can enjoy long weekends at the cabin without the worry of missing a session.
 
Each day of the week will be themed for the player’s benefit.

Tyler Riel
Director of Hockey & Ice Programs

Tyler is the visionary behind the Lazers Hockey Club, bringing over 15 years of coaching experience to his role as Director of Hockey. With a strong commitment to developing young athletes, Tyler has achieved certification at the HP1 coach level, equipping him with the skills to nurture talent at all stages.

Before taking on the role as Dakota’s Director of Hockey, Tyler played a pivotal role in shaping the Louis Riel School Division Hockey Program. Now at Dakota Community Centre, he is dedicated to creating an environment of inclusion, growth, and excellence within the club.

Under Tyler’s leadership, the Lazers Hockey Club is poised to elevate youth hockey, ensuring that every player receives the support and guidance they need to reach their full potential.
