Dakota CC and Lazers Hockey Club proudly hosted its 2nd Annual Winter Classic Hockey Tournament this past December. This year, the community center welcomed 37 teams across the U9 and U11 divisions, bringing together more than 600 young athletes for a weekend filled with competitive play, excitement, and a shared love of hockey.

A new highlight this year was the addition of the Dakota Event Hall experience, where players and families could relax, watch the games, enjoy a beverage, and connect with teams they don’t often see during the season. This space created a true sense of community and camaraderie, making the tournament more than just a series of games—it became a celebration of hockey and friendship.
