DCC Celebrates Community Milestones with School Convocations and LRSD Graduation Powwow Jennifer Golletz News & Updates 1 August 2025 From June 23 to 26, DCC welcomed the 2025 convocation ceremonies of four local schools—Collège Jeanne-Sauvé, Collège Béliveau, Centre Scolaire Léo-Rémillard, and Louis Riel Arts & Technology Centre—bringing together over 600 graduates and more than 6,500 proud family members and friends.DCC was also honoured to welcome the Louis Riel School Division (LRSD) as they hosted their annual Graduation Powwow at the Dakota Fieldhouse for the first time.Held on June 4, the event celebrated both student achievement and Indigenous culture through a full day of ceremony and gathering. The program included a pipe ceremony, registration, a feast, and a grand entry. Students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 took part, making the powwow a meaningful and unifying celebration for learners of all ages across the division.These celebrations were filled with joy, comradery, and lasting memories—reminding us that DCC is more than a space; it’s where communities come together to mark life’s most meaningful moments.Congratulations to all of the 2025 graduates!
