DCC Community Shines at Winnipeg Jets Game Jennifer Golletz News & Updates 31 October 2025 On Sunday, October 26, the Dakota Community Centre (DCC) family came together for an evening of hockey at Canada Life Centre as the Winnipeg Jets faced off against the Utah Mammoth.“Events like this highlight the strength and connection within the Dakota community. Seeing so many families, players, and supporters come together to represent our centre was a wonderful reflection of the pride and commitment that make Dakota what it is,” says Michele Augert, President and CEO of DCC.Nearly 300 members of the DCC community filled the stands in their Dakota Lazers, St. Vital Minor, and Jets gear, cheering, celebrating, and showing what community spirit truly looks like. Before the much-anticipated 50/50 draw late in the third period, Michele took to the mic to share a heartfelt message of gratitude. To top it all off, several members of our DCC family lit up the arena on the Jumbotron, representing our teams, volunteers, and families who make Dakota such a vibrant part of Winnipeg’s south end. A huge thank-you to everyone who purchased tickets, cheered loud, and helped make this event such a success. And the excitement isn’t over yet! Everyone who purchased tickets through the DCC promotion was automatically entered into our raffle for a signed Jonathan Toews jersey. We’ll be holding the official draw in early November, so stay tuned to our website and social media channels. Dakota Community Centre Jonathan Toews Winnipeg Jets - Share on Facebook Share on X
