Investments like this, through the City’s partnership with the Province of Manitoba, help strengthen neighborhood hubs like Dakota Community Centre for years to come,” said Santos.Councilor Vivian Santos, Chairperson of the Standing Policy Committee on Community Services, speaks about the project on July 24 at the Dakota Waterplay Park.Operated by the City of Winnipeg, the facility underwent renovations starting in April. Upgrades include removal of the waterslide due to accessibility concerns, and the addition of new water play features such as a Sneaky Soaker, Aqua Drop, and Parasol.
