iPad / iPhone Basics (Part 2) (Fridays) | ![]() |
Continuation of iPad / iPhone Basics Part 1 (Required before taking this course) Students will learn how to get the most out of the Apple iPad, including using apps, gesturing, customizing the home screen, typing, adding content, using settings, as well as troubleshooting common device issues and setting up iPad security. Plus some helpful tips and tricks to better use your device. Dates: April 14 - June 9, 2023. |
Connecting through Technology (Facebook, Instagram, Whats App, Facebook Messenger) (9 weeks) – After this course you will be able to connect with your friends, family, neighbors and grandchildren through a variety of platforms. Dates: April 14 - June 2, 2023. |
WELLNESS CLASSES

Tai Chi (Thursdays) |
Explore and deepen your health and wellness through the gentle and restorative practices of qigong and taijiquan from the Yang family lineage of tai chi. Each class will include a full-body warm-up to loosen the joint systems and relax, stretch, and strengthen the muscles and tendons to facilitate the flow of vital qi through the body. Emphasis will be placed on alignment to develop strong balance and posture. Dates: April 6 - June 22, 2023. |
Minds in Motion (Tuesdays) |
Minds in Motion is a program designed for people with early to moderate signs of dementia to attend with a family member or friend. This weekly program offers 8 sessions including; a gentle chair fitness class followed by engaging activities and conversation. Dates: April 11 - May 30, 2023. |
Introduction to Digital Photography (Mondays) |
This Intro level course will help you compose better photos by learning about lighting, camera locations, and accessories while taking diverse photo's such as Close-ups, landscapes, portraits, and panoramas. This is a very hands-on Digital Camera class! Dates: April 10 - 24, 2023. Equipment required: Digital Camera (point-and-shoot style) |
Painting (Thursdays) |
Join artist and teacher Cori Jaye Ettienne in an exploration of Acrylic Painting. Through a multi-project approach, this class will help you:

DROP-IN PROGRAMS
Our drop-in programming will offer relaxing card games or line dancing classes. Whether you want to relax or get a little active, there's something for everyone, plus you'll get to meet some great people!
Line Dancing - Absolute Beginner (Wednesdays) | Line Dancing - Beginner Plus (Tuesdays) |
This class introduces basic steps in short sequences of easy patterns and rhythms in the simplest way possible. There will be lots of repetition. If you have never line danced before or just started last year, this class is for you. Basic skills, easy choreography, easy dances. FUN for all. Participants dance to any music with a good beat. Dates: January 4, 2023 - June 21, 2023.

Some previous experience necessary. Dancers are expected to know the basic steps. Dances and choreography are a little more difficult, and music may be faster with more connecting steps. Dances may increase in length, complexity and tempo. Dates: January 3, 2023 - June 20, 2023.

Floor Curling (Tuesdays) |
Floor Curling helps seniors stay active. It helps promote flexibility, increased range of motion and circulation. Forget heavy rocks and slippery ice, this game is play in the Great Hall and the equipment is light weight and easy to handle. Dates: January 3, 2023 - April 25, 2023.
