Dakota Nursery School is delighted to welcome Jaime Voogt as our new Director.

Jaime brings over 30 years of experience working with children, having started as a nanny right after high school. What began as a first job soon grew into a true calling, as Jaime found deep meaning and purpose in helping children learn and grow.

Her passion for working with children inspired her to return to school, where she earned her ECE 2 from Red River College, gained valuable hands-on experience, and later completed her ECE 3. After taking time to raise her daughter and son, Jaime also ran a home daycare, further deepening her understanding of early childhood care.

Jaime’s connection to Dakota Nursery School is also personal—her own children attended the program, giving her the unique perspective of both a parent and an educator.

Now, as she steps into this new role, Jaime is excited to work alongside Dakota’s dedicated team and to support children as they build confidence, develop essential skills, and prepare for kindergarten.
