Facility Services Supervisor

We're looking for an enthusiastic, supervisor who thrives in client-first service to DCC pass holders, visitors and external rental groups while overseeing facility operations.

Job Title: Facility Services Supervisor
Hours: Up to 37.5 hours/week, evenings (2PM - 10PM) and weekends (10AM - 4PM)

Youth Program Activity Leader

The Youth Program Activity Leader must be an energetic, fun-loving individual who enjoys working with children. The leader has experience and knowledge in helping children develop physical literacy and develop fundamental motor skills through recreation activities that are fun and engaging.

Job Title: Youth Program Activity Leader
Hours: Variable (3-15h/week), part-time, evenings/weekends, seasonal (Most shifts are 3hrs)

Facility Attendant

The Dakota Community Centre – Jonathan Toews Sportsplex, located in south St. Vital in Winnipeg, is looking to employ an enthusiastic and hard-working Facility Attendant who thrives on client-first service and working with people of all ages and abilities.

Job Title: Facility Attendant
Hours: 15-20 hours/week, evenings and weekends (Shifts may start as early as 4:00PM and end as late as 12:30AM and are based on facility use and events).

Arena Ice Technician

With two busy arenas in the Jonathan Toews Sportsplex, we are looking for enthusiastic and qualified people who can work with us as licenced Arena & Ice Technicians.

Job Title: Arena & Ice Technician
Hours: Full and Part Time

Qualifications: 
  • Valid Power Engineer’s Certificate Refrigeration Class (W) is required or the equivalent Power Engineer Level 4 or better
  • Valid driver’s license – Class 5 is required
  • First Aid/CPR/AED and WHIMS 2017 training would be considered an asset
  • Previous experience in arena ice management and/or facility management will be considered an asset

DCC may be willing to bring you on our team to provide the necessary training and hours required to help you obtain your Refrigeration Ticket through Rec Connections Manitoba and start your new career at DCC.

Preference will be given to individuals who posses some general mechanical knowledge and skill/aptitude in facility maintenance, as a general willingness to learn and commitment to study.
