Lazers Hockey Club Hosts Inaugural Female Lazers Cup

Dakota CC welcomed 23 Teams for an unforgettable weekend of competition and community

Dakota CC’s Lazers Hockey Club (LHC) proudly hosted its first annual Female Lazers Cup over the February long weekend, and it was a tremendous success.

The tournament welcomed 23 teams from across Manitoba and Ontario and showcased the incredible spirit of the female game throughout the weekend. The girls put on an outstanding display of skill, passion, and sportsmanship both on and off the ice.

A highlight of the weekend was the Saturday night dance party, where players and parents came together to celebrate new friendships and shared experiences. The sense of community and camaraderie on display reflected the heart and spirit of female hockey. The games were intense and the level of competition was high, firmly cementing the Female Lazers Cup as a cornerstone for youth female hockey at Dakota CC.
