Building Opportunities & Transforming Lives.

Dakota Futures Campaign

We celebrate the spirit of giving and the investment of all donors and want to make this an inclusive celebration of our community and the future vision of where and how we live.

Every Dollar Counts.

Your donation matters very much, no matter the amount.

As a registered charity, Dakota Community Centre Inc. will issue a tax deductable, official receipt to you in the amount of your donation. All funds raised go 100% to Dakota Community Centre. Cheques should be made out to 'Dakota Community Centre'.

We sincerely thank you for your support in Dakota CC, for now and for future generations.

Multi-year pledge fulfillment schedules or other options such as a monthly or quarterly opportunities also make it easier to budget and plan for your own giving and stewardship. Increase The Value of Your Donation with Matching Gifts
Many companies and small businesses have a policy and practice to match donations that their staff make to fundraising campaigns such as the Dakota Futures Campaign. Ask your Human Resource department about your company policy and the procedure to follow. This is an easy way to increase the value of your gift and help us build our community for the future.

We have options for a planned gift such as a charitable donation tax credit or an estate gift. We have a number of options to take advantage of that would suit your budget. Sponsorships are another way to leave a legacy with a number of opportunities that are still remaining for a business or family gift to make a difference. Individual gifts or small business gifts of any size help us reach our goal.

Of utmost importance to the Board, Campaign Cabinet and Staff is that we respectfully honour, steward and celebrate the investment of all donors to the Dakota Futures Capital Campaign.

A Successful Phase I

Thank you to our generous donors for helping to build a bright future for Dakota Community Centre. Funds raised through the Dakota Futures Capital Campaign - Phase 1 (2016 -  2021) supported the building of the Dakota Fieldhouse and the Jumpstart Community Rink at our Centre.

Dakota Community Centre is taking new steps to meet the ever-growing needs of our community and beyond, with recent projects including the Maintenance Garage, Fitness Playground, Ice Plant Renovation, and Great Hall Renovation.

We look to ensure Dakota CC continues to meet the growing needs of the community well into the future. The master plan for our community centre campus includes a vision for the future site and what it could look like should there be future studies, plans and funding to pursue. Future expansion projects would include a third arena, a new entrance, and a multipurpose space as well as a lot of changes to the campus in terms of adding parking.
