2024 Spring Smash Tournament A Success!
Dakota Community Centre Fieldhouse was buzzing with excitement April 9th to 12th as we hosted the 2024 Spring Smash Pickleball Tournament. This year’s tournament saw more than 300 athletes compete in 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 categories for both men’s, women’s and mixed doubles.
The 4 days of action brought together players from across the city (even throughout the province!) and the result was a display of great competition, sportsmanship, and comradery.
The event featured some exciting Pickleball supported by Dakota Community Centre’s wonderful volunteers - players and spectators alike we’re left with a great experience.
Thank you to the Honorable Glen Simard, Minister of Sport, Culture, Heritage and Tourism Minister for joining us for our opening ceremony on Friday.
