COVID-19 Safety Measures
About DCC

Welcome Back!

We're very excited to be opening up our doors again as of Monday, July 5th, 2021 and we can't wait to see all of you again. We will be strictly following public health guidelines in order to ensure a safe return to programming. With that said, programs will become available bit by bit. We have provided a chart with what is available. This page will be updated with the latest information as our operation status changes.

> Safety First

We must continue to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines. To view the policies we have in place, please consult our COVID-19 guidelines page. Masks must be worn at all times while at Dakota Community Centre (including during physical activity.)

> Hours of Operation & Facility Access

Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday: Closed

Access and exiting is through the Fieldhouse only. All other entrances and exits will be locked until further notice.

> Pre-paid Memberships & Access Passes

Pre-paid memberships & access passes will be activated upon your first visit to the centre once open (on July 5, 2021). Due to COVID-19 closures, we have allowed pre-paid memberships & access passes to be put on hold multiple times over the past 16 months. Effective August 3rd, all pre-paid holds will be reactivated. No further holds will be allowed past this date.

> Activities and Restrictions

When visiting the Dakota Community Centre:

  • Don't attend if you are feeling ill, are awaiting results for a COVID test or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive or are in the process of being tested.
  • Masks are required at all times while in the facility (including while engaged in physical activity)
  • Disinfect hands upon entry.
  • Maintain social distance at all times (expected to practice this also while engaged in physical activity where allowed)
